STEM Partnerships in Action

Our Commitment to Communities

Posted 02 Jul 2020 by Kimberlee Sinclair, Director, Global Communications

H.B. Fuller Company Foundation is committed to supporting our communities and the education and empowerment of our youth. We would like to shine the spotlight on a community partner who has received the support of the H.B. Fuller Company Foundation and has been thoughtful and creative in its response to the changing needs of the community.

Staff at the Bell Museum realized that many children may go at least six months without setting foot in a classroom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That realization, plus the cancellation of many in-person camps, led programming staff to respond in a creative manner.

Bell Museum will be rolling out STEM activity kits each month throughout the summer to up to 9,000 children in the Twin Cities metro area. These kits, which include simple instructions and materials needed to complete experiments with limited support from caregivers, will be distributed at nutrition pick-up sites at local school districts.

We are proud to support the Bell Museum and appreciate their efforts to nourish the minds of our next generation of leaders.
